I would just like to state for the record that I ate way too much this weekend. It was my husband’s birthday, and we went out to eat three times over the course of two days. Also, they were not light meals. In fact, it was what I would like to call a big ole “Fat Fest”. Needless to say, I needed to get some healthy groceries to start this week off right. Luckily, I live near a Trader Joes and was able to grab some of my top five must have gluten free items. Score!
I feel a list coming.
Trader Joes Gluten Free Multigrain bread
It’s fall and aside from all the “regular” fall type stuff, I CRAVE grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. It’s bad. It’s a real addiction. There is something so magical about gooey, melted cheese in between two pieces of delicious golden brown, buttery bread dipped in a big bowl of tomato soup. I am making myself hungry already. This craving has been thwarted time and time again due to a lack of gluten free bread in the house. Not today though. Not today.
trader joes gluten free loaded fruit and nut granola
Mornings are sometimes not great for me. I don’t wake up easily and after I do, I am super groggy. It’s generally a rare day where I make something “fancy” for my first meal. Who has the energy for that? Not this kid, I tell ya’. Give me some Greek yogurt with this granola and I am good to go. Tasty, gluten free, easy and done.
trader joes 3 Seed sweet potato crackers
I have a cracker problem. My husband craves sweets like candy and ice cream, but I constantly crave all the crunchy, salty, goodness. Give me some crackers with cheese or some sort of dip, and I am in Heaven! These magical crackers also come in a beet version and they are equally amazing. Trust me. I am the cracker expert.
trader joes gluten free everything bagel
Oh man. These are heaven. That is all.
TRader joes cauliflower gnocchi
These little goodies here have quite the online following. After trying them, it’s pretty easy to see why. I am married to an Italian man so pasta is a big deal. These, to me, are just as good as the “real” thing. Well, maybe that’s stretching it a BIT, but it’s pretty darn close. Whip up some of these tasty nom noms, and toss with some of my favorite gluten free alfredo sauce and you’re golden. You can thank me later.
Well that’s it for today, my foodie friends! As always, if you enjoyed this, give it a “like” and make sure to follow this blog for next time. If you just can’t wait that long, be sure to find me on social media like Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.
Until next time! Happy nom noms!
